Yesterday, Sarah had the pleasure of visiting Studio 393!
If you have never heard of this organization, it’s a youth-led arts studio & an initiative of Winnipeg’s Graffiti Art Programming Inc.
Graffiti Art Programming is a not-for-profit community youth art centre. It has been around since 1998, and has provided many different options for our city including a gallery space, FREE educational arts programs- that are lead by experienced instructors AND they provide skills training for young artists.
One BIG thing to remember is art creates self-esteem, creativity, growth and helps the community for the better.
From dancing, to songwriting, the not-for-profit community provides youth with tools to help highlight each individual talent(s) they are passionate about.
Sarah met with a few of the kids yesterday, and was in awe. They are beyond talented, beyond brilliant and beyond amazing in every single way.
They have many events that go on throughout the course of the year, so if you’d like to check those out you totally should!
Studio 393 is open Monday to Friday from 4-8pm; they are located at 393 Portage Ave.
