Well deserved in our opinion!
From Billboard:
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will become the latest recipient of the “Generation” award at this year’s’ 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
Joining the ranks of such past recipients as Will Smith, Sandra Bullock, Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise and the Fast & Furious franchise, Johnson will receive the award at Monday night’s (June 17) show hosted by Shazam! star Zachary Levi.

He continues to captivate his audience worldwide and we are thrilled to celebrate him with the Generation Award.”
