Sad news for Disney and Simpsons fans.
Russi Taylor the voice of the iconic Minnie Mouse and Martin Prince on The Simpsons, died Friday at the age of 75.
Taylor’s voiceover career began with Toys R Us ads in the 1970s, and from there her career took off. In 1986, she beat out 200 other applicants to provide the voice of Minnie Mouse. Taylor was the seventh person to voice Minnie. Taylor’s second-best-known role was the voice of Martin Prince, the overly-enthusiastic teacher’s pet on The Simpsons.
