There’s a proposal to bring another NHL Team to Toronto and to build the world’s largest hockey rink to host the new team. Toronto Legacy Sports & Entertainment has submitted the proposal, along with a group of investors.
The team, called the Toronto Legacy Aces, will live in the world’s largest hockey arena, which will be built by either Sheppard TTC station or at Canadaland’s corporation site across the street. There will also be a non-profit museum on site. While it’s under construction, the Legacy Aces will play their first seasons in Hamilton though.
