This is a great idea.
Some Winnipeg grocery stores are opening an hour early to ensure seniors have a chance to get their shopping done!
The early opening will be dedicated to seniors so they can avoid a crowded environment, and make sure they get the supplies they need.
Stephen’s No Frills will be open one hour earlier on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
In addition, Shoppers Drug Mart will dedicate their first opening hour to customers who need assistance including seniors and people living with disabilities.

Also… Dakota Family Foods will be opening at 7 a.m. on Thursdays for seniors and people who are more vulnerable.
