Not just straws…but most single-use plastic.
An announcement made today by the federal government says Canada is on track to ban single-use plastic items by the “end of 2021”:

The banned items will include:
– straws
– plastic bags
– stir sticks
– six-pack rings
– cutlery
– food containers
The plan is to reach 0 plastic waste in Canada by 2030.
