Yesterday our Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, was in Winnipeg!
While Trudeau was here, he attended the opening of the Canada Goose plant and was accompanied by Premier Brian Pallister and Mayor Brian Bowman.
The new facility will provide around 700 new jobs once completely operational.
This afternoon in Winnipeg, Minister @DleblancNB, Premier @Brian_Pallister and I sat down to talk about removing barriers to interprovincial trade, fighting climate change, strictly regulating cannabis, and working with Indigenous communities in the province. pic.twitter.com/oTC8LsevQ8

Trudeau also answered many questions from the media and even took time to comment on issues that he and Pallister have different opinions on.
Justin even spoke about homegrown pot, saying it should be part of legalization to counter the black market. However, Manitoba has banned homegrown marijuana.
There was also discussion about Pallister’s plan to go ahead with a flat-rate carbon tax of $25 per tonne.
Happy to host @JustinTrudeau today. We had a productive meeting on key issues that affect Manitobans. Watch the highlights here 📺 #mbpoli 🌾 #cdnpoli🇨🇦 pic.twitter.com/6IxSq9ypqJ
