Ai-Kon is Manitoba’s premier anime, video game and Japanese culture convention. The weekend-long event is dedicated to the celebration, appreciation, and enjoyment of Japanese animation, video games and culture. From Friday through Sunday, the weekend will be filled with incredible events for our attendees to enjoy. From round-the-clock anime screenings and panels, to our dance showcases and drag performances, and a full slate of industry, artist and cosplay guests. Our Marketplace—the largest in Ai-Kon’s history—is also home to a plethora of vendors and independent artists. Other key events include highlights such as the cosplay contest, Maid Cafe, video game lounge, among many other attractions that have made Ai-Kon one of the biggest events of the year for Manitoba's anime lovers and gamers.
