It has been a long time since the kids were in class, but apparently, Manitobans are ready for them to return to school.
A new survey asked: “Should kids go back to class in the middle of a pandemic?”
The Leger poll was conducted on July 24 and 26 shows that 67 per cent of people surveyed in Manitoba and Saskatchewan say kids should go back to school.
Twenty-nine per cent say they don’t know, and only five per cent say kids should stay home.
The poll asked about precautions and a majority felt precautions should be in place.
This would include temperature checks, screening questionnaire, teachers to wear masks and students to wear masks.
Manitoba's 37 school districts had been tasked to come up with guidelines that fit the government's framework by September, but a lot of concerns still exist. Read this for more: https://t.co/v9sRfgZRVL
