Go jets go!
The boys are back on the ice, and they look GOOD!
The Winnipeg Jets took on the Vancouver Canucks in an exhibition game last night, and crushed them.
The final score was 4-1 and Paul Maurice was happy to say the least…
“That would be the best exhibition game in terms of effort that I’ve ever seen. There was some really good pace to it,” said Maurice.
“There are some things in this game tonight that we think are applicable to our games against Calgary – how we break the puck out, the pressure we’re going to see from their forecheck.”
Tucker Poolman, Nikolaj Ehlers, Dmitry Kulikov, and Blake Wheeler scored, and Connor Hellebuyck played all 60 minutes, with 38 shots on net.
This Saturday is Game 1; the Jets take on the Calgary Flames in the Qualifying Round.
