An iconic wall in Nashville has replaced Taylor Swift. The wall features a massive mural of some of the greatest country singers to come out of Nashville… and given how Taylor Swift no longer identifies as a country musician, her image has been replaced by Brad Paisley. It used to be an image of Taylor sitting between willie nelson and Johnny Cash, and now its brad paisley in-between them sitting on the same stool.
The artist behind the mural, Tim Davis said “I have heard many complaints here in Nashville about Taylor being on the wall with country legends since she is currently focused mainly on pop. Some inebriated bar hoppers have spit on her image specifically, feeling betrayed by her venture from country. I guess this is to be expected, but by in large, the people of Nashville love her, as do I.”
Nashville really took Taylor Swift who is the youngest person to ever win 'The Pinnacle Award' for her contribution in country music & popularized the genre overseas off of the Legends Corner Mural, and gave her spot to Brad Paisley who released a song like ‘accidental racist’ 😐 pic.twitter.com/w8DFqCEkCO

While the vote ruled he replace Swift on that particular mural, there’s also a $35,000 GoFundMe page dedicated to raising money for a mural solely dedicated to her.
