Nike is giving you a chance to buy more affordable sneakers. They won’t be brand new, but they’ll look like it.
The shoe giant is launching a new refurbishing program in 15 U.S stores for now but they have plans to grow that number larger and to be world wide…
“Nike Refurbished extends the lifespan for three types of footwear: like new (maybe worn for a day or two before being returned), gently worn (a little longer) and cosmetically flawed (think: something like a small snag that happened in manufacturing).” It states on the company website.
Sneakers that are too far gone will be recycled into things like rubber flooring.
“Nike Refurbished footwear is also covered by Nike’s 60-day wear test. If it’s not what a shopper needs, they can return it!” it continued
