Kelvin Goertzen has been named the interim leader of the Progressive Conservative Party and is being sworn in today following Pallister’s resignation. Kelvin Goertzen has previously served as the minister of health, seniors and active living and the minister of education.
He’s also the minister of legislative and public affairs and the deputy premier of Manitoba.
Seeing as how this is a super short term fill since there’s a new election on October 30th, don’t expect to see any crazy changes or anything like that… he will basically just be filling in Pallister’s shoes to keep the boat afloat for now.
