Thanks to inflation, the lowest minimum wage in the country and never ending taxes and gas prices… there’s never been a better time to budget and go through your statements to see some areas where you could be saving money.
- Try switching to a lower interest credit card.
- Go to your bank instead of using an ATM to save on those unnecessary fee’s.
- Check out your automatic payments… there might be some apps/services in there that you don’t even use anymore.
- Watch some reviews on drugstore products instead of always buying the expensive ones from Sephora. Many of them are made by the same companies (example: L’Oréal also manufactures YSL, Giorgio Armani and Lancôme etc…) and a lot of the “budget products” have if not identical, very similar formulas to their higher end sister brands.
- Stop buying things JUST because they’re on sale. Yeah it’s a good deal but do you really need it? Try thinking on it overnight instead… if after 24 hours you decide it’s a must have then you can buy it guilt free.
- STOP ORDERING FOOD DELIVERY. Seriously… it’s nice to treat yourself every once in a while, but it is so much more affordable to cook a meal and have leftovers than it is to order a single meal for the price f an entire grocery shop.
What are some things you do to try and save money?
