Team Canada has just sent out the invites for the national junior team summer camp with the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship approaching this winter.

4 Manitobans have earned themselves an invite, and so did a couple members of the Winnipeg Ice, forward Connor Geekie from Strathclair will be heading to camp alongside his teammate Matt Savoie. They be joined by Prince George Cougars goaltender Tyler Brennan, Moose Jaw Warriors defenceman Denton Mateychuk and Owen Pickering, defenceman for Swift Current.
