Yeah, that’s a lot of bears.
It’s one of the coolest games on any hockey team’s schedule…the annual Teddy Bear Toss.
One of the largest in Canada took place this past weekend in Calgary:

In total, the Hitmen fans tossed 20,207 teddy bears over the glass…and it took roughly 45 minutes to clear the ice before the game could start again!

Closer to home, the Winnipeg Ice will host their Teddy Bear Toss this Friday, December 9th.
The Manitoba Moose will do the same coming up the following weekend on Saturday, December 17th!
